The New York State Future Homemakers of America/Family, Career & Community Leaders of America Alumni & Associates (NYS FHA/FCCLA A&A) was formally reorganized in 1992 as an auxiliary and assistance organization for students and advisers of New York State FCCLA. Our main focus is to support the continuing goals and development of youth in order to prepare them for the world of work and family in the 21st century. We have over 60 active affiliated members and a contact base of over 310 people across New York State and the United States.
Although it is not required, our members also have the option to purchase membership in the National Family, Career & Community Leaders of America Alumni & Associates Organization. Information can be obtained through the
Membership section of this site, the A&A Section on the National FCCLA Website and by contacting any of the NYS FHA/FCCLA A&A Officers.
We encourage all graduating seniors and other interested individuals to support the Family, Career & Community Leaders of America whenever possible. With over nine million former FHA, FHA/HERO and FCCLA members you can't go wrong supporting FCCLA!

Mission:
To form a network of past members and interested individuals who want to support the goals and purposes of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, its chapters and its members.
Purposes:
- To support the continuing development of FCCLA youth,
- To support the advancement of the organizational goals of Family, Career & Community Leaders of America,
- To enable individuals to remain active in the organization.
Alumni & Associates members assist with local, district and state conferences/meetings, act as guest speakers for such functions; support the organization professionally & monetarily and have become a "extra hand" for the advisers and student leaders across the state. Our membership includes Alumni, Past State Officers still in school and interested individuals who believe Family, Career & Community Leaders of America's goals are important to instill in today's youth.
There are three classifications of members within the Alumni & Associates. They are:
- Alumnus: A former member of an FHA, FHA/HERO and/or FCCLA chapter desiring to continue their support of and involvement with FCCLA.
- Associate: Any interested individual who wishes to support FCCLA's purposes, activities and members.
- State Officer Alumnus: A Past State Officer who is still in school and is interested in continuing the educational and leadership development of student members on a "peer-to-peer" basis.
